C'est une situation difficile de voir la parole devenir de + en + incompréhensible, mais des moyens existent : se mettre au calme, répéter, faire répéter (sans avoir peur de paraitre maladroit, la personne vous en saura reconnaissante, car il vaut mieux se comprendre que pas, quelque soit le temps que ça prend).
Proposer à la personne de donner la première lettre du mot puis la 2ème. Le simple fait de voir qu'on va prendre el temps remet souvent la personne en confiance et lui permet de prononcer la suite . Lui proposer d'épeler. Si elle ne peut pas, on peut lui proposer d'écrire elel même, ou lui proposer l'alphabet soit sur papier si elle peut montrer, soit par oral.
